Here are the steps to register blog / website in Alexa in detail:
1. Log in to Alexa.com .
2. Then select the 'Site Tools' tab.
3. Click 'Claim Your Site'.
4. Enter your blog / website url, then click 'Claim your site'.
5. Register in advance to login, or to practically can directly log in with a Facebook account on the right side of the login form.
6. Then go to the verification page. There are two ways to upload HTML to the blog root directory (if you have your own hosting) or enter the Alexa meta key in the second option. Use the second option to make it more slim and easy. How: copy the meta key and paste it in your HTML template. Put it between <head> and </ head>, to quickly place it at the top (close <head>) after your meta keywords and meta description of your blog. Then save the template
7. Go back to the Alexa page and click 'Verify my meta tag'. If successful there will be information that shows you have successfully claim your blog.
8. Get the Alexa widget to install. Go to 'Site Tools' again and select 'Alexa Site Widgets'.
9. There are several types of widgets there, you just choose which one will put on blog, blog url contents, and copy the code.
10. Go to design page >> page element, click add gadget, and select add HTML / Javascript, paste the code into the column, and save. Put it on the side of the page you want, then save again.

Important!
Not all subdomains can be owned by Alexa rank because they do not form as separate structures from the parent domain. Examples of blogs with independent subdomains are blogger.com, wordpress.com, blog.com, and others. If you use a subdomain like this, you can use the Alexa service.
While blogs with non-independent subdomains (dependent) on the parent domain are mywapblog.com, multiply.com, etc. The subdomain type as the last one has a traffic ranking (alexa) which is a subindex on the subdomain, so all blogs will have the same alexa rank.
